Goodbye Colin Kaepernick – FoxDie Podcast #9

Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback who last season started a wave of sideline protests by kneeling during the playing of the national anthem, has filed a grievance against the N.F.L., accusing all 32 teams of colluding to keep him out of the league. Washington Post

Need I say more… it’s a victim complex.

By the way, he’s not even in the Top 32 Quarterbacks in 2017 Season. I’m glad he got cut maybe the 49’ers will stand a chance next season without him holding them back.

Colin Kaepernick probably should’ve realized that he undoubtedly isn’t worth the trouble for any of the 32 NFL teams to take on a lesser player with extra baggage.

If guys like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Drew Brees, Cam Newton, Ben Roethlisberger, Michael Vick, Philip Rivers, Eli Manning, Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford tried to do what Kaepernick did in terms of protesting, those guys would still have a job in the NFL because they’re actually far more talented than Kap and those guys could actually win ball games and take teams to the Super Bowl and win the Championship.

As it is, Kaepernick was realistically a second-tier QB who flamed out once Jim Harbaugh and the defensive line weren’t around to pick up the slack for him, and he was only good as a read-option running QB who was quickly figured out by opposing defenses.
